Boot OS from SD Card

Hi guys,

Is it possible for us to install OS on microSD card due to insufficient onboard storage?
If yes, kindly provide documentation or guide for doing so.

1.  unzip SDDiskTool_v1.57.zip,  the path is SDK\RKTools\windows(SDK is your project‘s root directory)
2.  start SD_Firmware_Tool.exe

3. Follow the steps below:

4.  If successful, you'll try to boot the OS from microSD card

1. You can get the RK3399ProD source code from here:
http://t.rock-chips.com/portal.php?mod=list&catid=11&product_id=4
the tool's relative path is RKTools/windows/ , you can find SDDiskTool_v1.57.zip and unzip it.2. This approach also works for linux image.

Sorry for trying this out so late, this is because previously I still have plenty of space left on emmc.
I am currently trying the SDDiskTool, but unfortunately, it can only detect my USB Pendrive and not my SD card. Is this expected?
