Hi there,
My name is Zeff and I am from Splunk Toronto team.
We recently purcashed 2 RK3399ProD development boards for prototyping.
I am trying to install a linux driver for our PCIe Xilinx FPGA card. I need to build the driver in the Fedora that comes with the board.
The build tool is supposed to locate at /lib/modules/{fedora_version}/build
I did a 'uname -r', and the kernel version is 4.4.167.
I also nstalled the latest the kernel_devel using the command:
# sudo yum -y install kernel-devel kernel-headers
However, the devel version under the /lib/modules folder doesn't match the kernel version.
I did try to update the kernel to the latest version, but after reboot, it remains the same 4.4.167.
Therefore, although I can successfully build the Xilinx driver, I can't insert the module because "the format is invalid".
Can somebody help with this.
thanks
Zefu
